Yes. That's possible. Start by eating more healthy and balanced meal.
Since your weight problem is due to sickess, it's best to go see a doctor first before partake in any exercises.
Decrease fats in the food to get more of the good cholesterol.

You should probably specify about the beans, make sure people understand that re-fried beans will not help with weight-loss at all (It may seem obvious to some, but I'm sure there are people who do not know this). Specify the way the beans should be cooked and healthy types of beans. :)
what about fat free refried beans, they are simply mashed pinto beans with no lard or other ingredients. They are great on whole grain tortillas!

Hey i am 17 going on 18 and i am having a big party in April and now its october i weigh around 190-200 pounds. I am tired of being overweight-obese and i stumble across your blog in a Zumba video on youtube and i felt inspired by your site and the video . I started doing this in the past week or two :
1 Hour and sometimes 1 and a half of walking fitness videos i see on demand
only eat my normal food from sunrise to 5 pm
If i get hungry at night i eat fruits instead of normal food.
and so far i only drink water no more soda or juice like i use to

@ mari, I am very glad that you started eating healthily. Of course, it is very difficult to say whether you are going to lose 50 or 60 pounds in half a year, but certainly it is possible if you keep on exercising and replacing buns and chocolates with apples and bananas :) You seem to be doing everything right, just see how it goes and you'll know whether you need to intensify your exercising.
@ Anonymous, it is a good goal, try to follow the advice listed in our blog, eat healthy food and do perharps, some aerobics or any other sports you are keen on. It's all simple and nothing is impossible.
