Lose Weight Without the Struggle

If you want to lose weight without struggle, the secret is to find the healthy life style that suits you best. Don’t underestimate the power of tiny changes here and there... It’s not about making huge changes and sacrifices over night hoping to get thin by next month.

1. The first is to get active.
You don’t need to run a marathon to lose weight. All you need is a couple of exercises that you are comfortable with and can handle. Then start doing them.

2. Eat more plants.
Start consuming lots of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, beans, legumes and nuts. They are cheap and available in every grocery store.

3. Think ahead
Before you go shopping for the month, already have in mind what type of dish you will be preparing for yourself. Make sure it’s something healthy and made from fresh food. Can food is a NO-NO.

4. Decrease the amount you eat and drink
Drink water instead of soda. Say no to alcohol when you go out. Cook something instead of ordering pizza, going to Burger King etc... Small changes like that can go far when put together.

5. Last advice
Only eat if you are hungry. Stop eating if you are full. I know eating is quite enjoyable thus can be quite hard to pass the opportunity. But ask yourself, is a couple of minutes of pleasure worth losing my health over?

Hi, I'm 12 years old and I'm trying to eat healthier. I'd say my main goal is to lose some of my stomach and fat, and get some abs by the end of the summer. I'd say I weigh 115 pounds, and I want abs, not love-handles and not a unattractive body. I'm not chubby, just my stomach. I want to change to feel better for myself, not so others in school would stop talking about me. I'd like to do these goals by end of the summer. What should I do?

Hey i'm 13 and i'm about 5,7 or 5,8 i weigh maybe around 170- 180 pounds i'm not really that chubbie but it would be nice to loose the extra weight before i head off to camp with my friends. Can you think of anything i can do i only have two weeks left before i'm sent off.

It doesn't work that way. Losing weight requires a long term commitment. You can't just drop 30 - 40 lbs in 2 weeks using some magic technique.

If I were you, I'd ask my parents to put me on a diet to slowly and steadily lose the weight.

You answer him but not me?

I'm 14,5'9 and 160 lbs. I'm a little bit fat. How do I get a flat stomach? Will ab exercises (crunches, reverse crunches, etc..)help? I want to get rid of the fat because it's slowing me down a bit in sports. Please reply.

I weigh 42.0k's. I have a belly and I am looking forward to lose it. I am only 11 and when I see food I just want to eat. How can I stop doing that and try to avoid food when I am full? Your blog helped me a lot but it's just that when my eyes land on food I really want to eat.
