it dosen't really need to be done a ball it cam be done on bed too it must be something soft and when doying crunches be sure u don't raise u're abs if u do this it barely helps abs it's most for back muscles

You need to work on getting your belly flat first by dieting and exercising. Otherwise, you won't be able to see your packs..
Do this ab excersise until you see flat belly, no muscle will show, but muscle will be there.
BTW: I like girls who have a 4 pack or something like that. :) Hope this helped

I've been doing like.. 200 crunches for day or more.. it's been a week now, most of the time I don't eat fastfood, but i eat regularly meat, like a normal person.
I am like this guy, there are not excelent results, but i will try harder, i am not fat, everyone says i'm thin, 1,81 cm for 70 kg, i've done tests and i'm healthy 'like a horse'.
I just have 1 question, should I do 200 crunches?

If you have a big belly, then this exercise will do you no good. This is for people who already have a flat belly and wants to show muscles in them.
First, you need lose your stomach fat by eating right and staying active. At your age, I wouldn't do any extreme workout without a supervisor. It can lead to damages.

If you don't have a flat belly yet, you should focus on changing that more by dieting and exercising. Doing ab workout at this point would be a waste. Your packs won't show since they will lay under the layers of fat on your belly.
You're too young to partake in any extreme weight lifting routine though.

Hey dude. It won't take that long you just have to loose your fat then work on your abs. Once you loose your fat , 3-4 week. Then you can work on your abs 2-3 weeks it depends if you want flat abs you must work out every day ,or if you want body builder abs workout extra hard ,more reps, for body builder abs workout twice a week am 12 I have similar abs to Lebron James.
to the girl that wants a flat stomach, just run a lot. Do mostly cardio, it will burn the fat but not give you the bulky muscles. But still mix it up with ab workouts, and other lifts.

I'm having a hard time working my abs do to a back injury (ruptured disk@ L4/L5). After 3 steroid injections and 6 months PT I've reduced my pain about 90% but I need to keep good body mechanics and my back has to be strait all the time to avoid pain. I'm 21 and I had my daughter when I was 19. I was 225 right before I had her. Right now I weigh between 190-185. I weigh less than I did before I had her but I still have a lil extra on my belly and I need to lose at least 25lbs so that I can join the airforce. what do you suggest? I'm 5'5 so airforce requirements say i should weigh no more than 165. I need to do this as quickly as possible considering I just recently lost both my jobs. Please help.
my suggestions is do jogging and other exercise or activity until you feel your belly fat is remove and you has a flat stomach then do some crunches for 2 weeks with jogging and trust me your abs would show up :D
